My car history hasn't exactly been varied. I started off with a Fiesta, then bought another Fiesta, then I wanted to go a bit faster so I bought a Fiesta XR2i, and finally I bought my current car - A fiesta!

I bought that last fiesta back in 2000 - 12 years ago. Although it suited my needs for many years, but now that I am married and have a baby it no longer fits the bill. Mrs7t has been talking about getting a new car for a year or so, but I have had a hard time breaking the attachment with my little red friend.
When we reached 2012, Lime had already starting walking. I finally admitted to myself that we really did need to find a more suitable car, which we have now done. I won't talk about that car in this post, this post is purely for me to reminisce about the fab little red fiesta.

Our 2005 road trip included visits to Wales (Snowdonia / Port Merrion), Blackpool, Liverpool and Manchester.

Our first trip to climb some mountains was in 2006. In the photo above we had just arrived at Pen-Y-Pass car park and were getting ready to head along the pyg track to the summit of snowdon.

In 2007 we returned to Wales to climb a few more mountains.

Once Matilda came along things started to get tricky, the car only has 2 doors. We coped for quite a while, but we knew it was only a matter of time before we would need to upgrade.

As you can see, the car experienced all the fun of the snow, and in the 12 years never had any problems starting in the morning. (apart from the time that Mrs7t left the interior light on and it drained the battery - :-p )

Unless the car was full of people and luggage, it was actually quite nippy - even though it only had a 1.25 litre engine.

From 2010 I started running and entering races and running at parkruns. We always used to car to travel to the events.

We went to Eastbourne a couple of times in 2011, this is from the time that we had a big family day out there.

Christmas 2011 and we had visitors from Germany. We picked Matilda's uncle up from Gatwick and did lots of other fun things.
